Most Anticipated Book Releases - July Edition! {Part 1}

Hello guys and welcome to another post where I gush about the new releases I'm excited for! It took me a while to put together the pots for this month but finally, I managed it! There's going to be two parts for July's most anticipated book releases and I cannot wait to share them with you! I will seriously never stop being so overwhelm by the amount of books that are published every month and I obviously want to get my hands on!

Make sure to mark your calendars for the books that interest you and don't forget to let me know which new releases you're most excited for!
*Fawkes By Nadine Brandes
Publication Date: July 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Historical Fiction, Fantasy

I've been obsessed with Historical Fiction this past year and this one just makes me want to scream from desperation because of my need to read it! I sound quite dramatic, I know! Just take a look at the blurb folks...Thomas Fawkes is turning into stone and the only cure to the Stone Plague is to join his father's plot to assassinate the the King of England. Doesn't that make you extremely curious to see what this book is about?

*Kiss of the Royal By Lindsey Duga
Publication Date: July 3rd
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance

I'm participating in a Blog Tour for this one sometime next week and I seriously have no words for how unique it is! The world introduced in Kiss of the Royal is extremely unique and I was seriously blown away by it! The premise is a bit weird and takes some getting used to but, once I got past the initial shock of it, the story got so much easier to read and even more intriguing!

*The Traitor's Ruin {The Traitor's Circle #2} By Erin Beaty
Publication Date: July 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

This is a series I've had my eye on for quite some time but, I have so much Fantasy sitting on my shelves that I really need to read and I just never managed to get my hands on it! I've heard a lot of great things about the first book though so, if you've read and enjoyed it, make sure to mark your calendars for its sequel!

*Sea Witch By Sarah Henning
Publication Date: July 31th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

The year of 2018 seems to be dedicated to retellings and movie adaptations of The Little Mermaid and truthfully, I'm more than living for it! Sea Witch comes with a huge and extremely fascinating twist though! It follows the iconic villainess of the story and how she became one in the first place!
*Competence {The Custard Protocol #3} By Gail Carriger
Publication Date: July 17th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy, Steampunk

This is the third novel in the series but, it's another one I've been wanting to get my hands on for quite some time! I have read the Parasol Protectorate series by Gail Carriger and I love how she writes Steampunk mixed in with Fantasy and sometimes, Paranormal. They're just so well written and give a very different spin on things that readers have come to consider as ''ordinary'', which is impressive and more than difficult to achieve!

*The Locksmith's Daughter By Karen Brooks
Publication Date: July 31st
Genres: Historical Fiction

This one is already out but, it's getting a new cover in July and I really wanted to share it with you because it truly sounds amazing! This is the year of Historical Fiction for me and I'm always trying to discover as many books set in the particular Genre as I can! This one follows an outstanding woman who has mastered the art of seeing through the intricate patterns of any lock she comes across, which makes her a precious alley to the Kingdom, before secrets are revealed and she becomes a dangerous threat!

*Beast: A Tale of Love and Revenge By Lisa Jensen
Publication Date: July 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy, Retteling

My love for Beauty and the Beast in all its forms is no secret but, until now, I haven't really come across a novel based off of it that blew my mind. Favorite movie, in case you're wondering, is the French version of 2014, La Belle et la Bete! This one sounds completely different, is filled with magic, revenge and maybe, a happily ever after!
*The Supervillain and Me {Morriston Superheroes #1} By Danielle Banas
Publication Date: July 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Fantasy

This is probably one of the most unique novels I've come across recently and I'm desperate for it! It sounds quirky, fun and I seriously cannot wait to get my hands on it in order to discover if it'll be as amazing as it looks! Just by reading its synopsis, everything about it has become so vivid in my head and that has never happened to me before so, it's already a winner for me!

*The Loneliest Girl in the Universe By Lauren James
Publication Date: July 3rd
Genres: Young Adult, Science Fiction

This is already out but, getting a new cover as well and I thought I'd share it with you because it sounds truly fascinating! The main character is the only surviving member of a spaceship travelling to a new planet, in a mission to establish a new home for humanity! Alone in space, she hears about a ship that has launched from Earth and receives an email from its only passenger, a boy called J!

*Record of a Spaceborn Few {Wayfarers #3} By Becky Chambers
Publication Date: July 26th
Genres: Science Fiction

I don't know whether this is a companion series or every book has something to do with its predecessor but, I've been wanting to get my hands on The Long Way to A Small, Angry Planet since I first laid my eyes on it! It sounds amazing and even though I'm not the biggest fan of Science Fiction, I really want to give this one a try and discover what it's really about! The title is also quite impressive, by the way!

*All These Beautiful Strangers By Elizabeth Klehfoth
Publication Date: July 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Mystery

I've become very fond of Young Adult novels with a twist of Mystery in them these past couple of months and this one sounds exactly what I've been looking for! Charlie's mother vanished when she was just seven years old and ten years later, she's still struggling with her family's dark legacy!
*Takeoff {Seth Walker #1} By Joseph Reid
Publication Date: July 1st
Genres: Thriller, Mystery, Suspense

I absolutely adore novels like this one and it sounds exactly like an Adventure movie, something that makes me even more eager to read it! It's about an air marshal who becomes an investigator after a devastating personal tragedy and his first client is a woman in grave danger! In order to keep her alive, they have to go on the run and always try to stay one step ahead of their pursuers!

*The Ruin {Cormac Reilly #1} By Dervla McTiernan
Publication Date: July 3rd
Genres: Crime, Mystery

This follows a Detective who's been assigned with the re-investigation of an accidental overdose that took place twenty years ago, when one of the children the woman left behind is found in the dark and freezing waters of a river in Ireland and his death has been ruled as a suicide! His sister suspects foul play and is more than determined to prove it, even if everyone is determined to put the blame of his death on her shoulders.

*Give Me Your Hand By Megan Abbott
Publication Date: July 17th
Genres: Thriller, Mystery, Fiction

Two friends compete for a position in a groundbreaking research led by their idol and they'll do everything in their power to make it theirs, even if it means destroying each other in the process! This is a mesmerizing psychological thriller about how a secret can bring two friends together forever...or tear them apart! This one sounds to have come straight out of my worst nightmare and I'm really intrigued by it, even if I'm not really fond of these kinds of storylines!
*The Thinnest Air By Minka Kent
Publication Date: July 1st
Genres:Mystery, Thriller

This one sounds so suspenseful and if follows the disappearance of a woman who had no reason to leave behind her loved ones. Her desperate sister arrives at the town she lives in and tries to figure out the mystery of who Meredith was and whether anyone really knew her at all!

*The Last Time I Lied By Riley Sager
Publication Date: July 3rd
Genres: Thriller, Mystery

The cover of this one reminds me of a movie poster for some reason and it looks amazing! This is about four girls who met at camp and one of them, watched the rest sneak out one night but, they never came back. Nobody knows what happened to them and years later, Emma finds herself sorting through lies in order to get to the truth for what happened!

*Her Pretty Face By Robyn Harding
Publication Date: July 10th
Genres: Psychological Thriller

I got into Psychological Thrillers this year and I really enjoyed the ones I've read so far! I think this is a companion to the author's previous novel and it sounds truly intriguing! I'm not even going to try and explain its synopsis because it's too complicating to put into a sentence so, make sure to visit the books Goodreads page and read what it is about!

*Like Never and Always By Ann Aguire
Publication Date: July 17th
Genres: Young Adult, Mystery

I've been wanting to pick up the author's Enclave series for ages now but, never managed to do so! Like Never and Always follows the life of a girl who wakes up in the hospital to discover that, she has both the identity and the face of her best friend! Doesn't it sound fascinating?

That was it for today's post guys! Hope you found it helpful and discovered new books to add to your never ending lists! Make sure to let me know which new releases you're most excited for and don't forget to come back for the second part of this post!
