Stacking the Shelves - The ''Monday'' Edition!

Hello guys and welcome to a much belated Stacking the Shelves post! I was supposed to have this up sometime during the weekend but, went away without actually scheduling it so, I thought I'd put it together real quick and actually post it today, on a Monday! Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews so, make sure to visit the official post if you want to learn more about it!

Make sure to let me know what books you added to your shelves this week and whether you've read any of the ones featured here! I got half of these from Awesome Books and the other half from either my bookstore or The Book Depository! I also have some review books but, will be adding them in my next Stacking the Shelves post!

*The Forever of Ella and Micha & The Secret of Ella and Micha By Jessica Sorensen
Publication Date: October 2012/October 2013
Genres: New Adult, Contemporary, Romance

The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden is one of my favorite New Adult novels and I've been wanting to get my hands on her books about Ella and Micha since I read it! I found both of them for super cheap on Awesome Books and could not resist finally picking them up! I've already read The Secret and my review will be up sometime before the month is over!

*Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close By Jonathan Safran Foer
Publication Date: April 2006
Genres: Contemporary, Fiction

We're actually studying this one for one of my classes this semester and I couldn't have been happier! It's one of those books I've wanted to read for years but, was never motivated enough to do so, if that makes any sense!

*Looking For JJ {Jennifer Jones #1} By Anne Cassidy
Publication Date: February 2004
Genres: Young Adult, Mystery, Fiction

I came across this one while browsing through some other Crime books and was very intrigued by its synopsis! I haven't really heard anything about it but, I have read one of the author's other novels and really enjoyed it so, I'm really looking forward to eventually reading this one as well!
*The Diviners {The Diviners #1} By Libba Bray
Publication Date: September 2012
Genres: Young Adult, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Paranormal

I've been wanting to get my hands on this one since it came out but, never managed to do so...until now! It sounds very fascinating and I've been extremely into Historical Fiction lately and the fact that this one has a Paranormal aspect to it, makes me even more eager to read it!

*Silent In the Grave & Silent In the Sanctuary By Deanna Raybourn
Publication Date: January 2007/January 2008
Genres: Historical Fiction, Mystery, Romance

I recently read Deanna Raybourn's series about Veronica Speedwell and absolutely read it so, I just had to get my hands on her other Historical Fiction series! I feel like this is more centered around the Romance aspect of things but, it stills sounds amazing and has a lot of Mystery thrown in so, I can't wait to finally read it!

*The Queen's Rising {The Queen's Rising #1} By Rebecca Ross
Publication Date: February 2018
Genres: Young Adult, Historical Fiction

This was one of my most anticipated book releases and I've already read it so, stay tuned for my review on it! I wasn't mind blown by it but, I'm definitely interested in the rest of the series and seeing how it'll progress!
*This Mortal Coil {This Mortal Coil #1} By Emily Suvada
Publication Date: November 2017
Genres: Young Adult, Science Fiction, Dystopia

This one had been popping up on my Instagram feed and I was very curious to see what the hype was all about, something which I usually avoid but, this one was too intriguing to pass up! I've already read it, which is the reason I wanted to post this before I accumulated and went through more books so, I hate repeating myself but, stay tuned for my review!

*Ten Thousand Skies Above You {Firebird #2} By Claudia Gray
Publication Date: November 2015
Genres: Young Adult, Science Fiction

I read the first book in the series last year and even though I was mind blown by it, I still want to see what'll happen next because that ending literally came from nowhere! I'll probably have to read the last couple of chapters in order to remember some things because it's been a while but, I can't remember to continue on with the sequel!

*Alice In Zombieland {White Rabbit Chronicles #1} By Gena Showalter
Publication Date: September 2012
Genres: Young Adult, Horror, Retelling

This is another series I've been wanting to start for years but never got the chance to! I love Alice in Wonderland and finally managed to get my hands on a completely different and unique version! I found it on Awesome Books for a ridiculously cheap price and finally got my hands on it! I have to say that, it did arrive looking pretty damaged so, I'll probably end up repurchasing it if I enjoy it!

That was it for this week's Stacking the Shelves guys! I have two more orders coming it and then, I'm doing a thing where I have to read five physical books before purchasing a new one because my TBR has gotten out of control! Don't forget to let me know which books you got this week!

Until the next post,

  1. I love The Diviners, and the second book. I still need to read the third one though! They are just so long - you really have to commit time to them. lol
