Most Anticipated Book Releases - May Edition! {Part 1}

Hello guys and welcome to the first part of May's most exciting new releases! As always, stay tuned for the next couple of parts coming up in the next couple of days and make sure to let me know which releases are at the top of your most anticipated reads list! These posts will never stop being overwhelming for me, simply because I want to get my hands on all of these books and it's impossible to do so, if I want to avoid going bankrupt and destroying my financial future! If that's even a thing, I have no idea!
*From Twinkle, With Love By Sandhya Menon
Publication Date: May 22nd
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

This is probably one of the world's most anticipated book releases, considering how much hype When Dimple Met Rishi got! I'm definitely interested in both because they sound like such fun and diverse reads so, I'll hopefully get around to reading them soon!

*My So Called Bollywood Life By Nisha Sharma
Publication Date: May 15th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

Another diverse read that sounds very interesting and I cannot wait to get my hands on! I really need to get into Bollywood more this year because it features such interesting aspects and if you have any movies or books to recommend, I'd really appreciate it!

*August and Everything After By Jennifer Salvato Doktorski
Publication Date: May 1st
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

Desperate for a fresh start, Quinn is desperate for school to end and summer to begin, so that she can escape to New Jersey and leave teenage drama behind! Her future is uncertain, especially since she strongly believes that she does not deserve one. When she meets Malcolm, who's also been trying to run away from his own demons, she starts to believe in second chances and is one step closer to coming to terms with her past!

*Airports, Exes and Other Things I'm Over By Shani Petroff
Publication Date: May 15th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

This one sounds like a very cute and emotional read! After Sari catches her boyfriend cheating on her and gets stuck in the airport with him because their Spring Break plans are cancelled, she has to survive the flight home next to the guy who broke her heart!
*The Brightsiders By Jen Wilde
Publication Date: May 22nd
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

I've been seeing this one around a lot lately and had a chance to sign up for a Blog Tour but, didn't have any available dates, which is a fact you probably don't care about! I haven't read a book following a rock band or any kind of band for that matter in quite some time so, I'm very excited to give this one a chance!

*Always Never Yours By Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund - Broka
Publication Date: May 2nd
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

I found this one to be quite interesting and relevant so, really excited to be sharing it with you! Megan describes herself as the ''girl before'', because all of her exes managed to find their true loves right after dating her. When she's cast as Juliet for her school's play, she meets Owen, an aspiring playwright who agrees to help her catch the eye of her crush, in exchange for help with his new script!

*Questions I Want to Ask You By Michelle Falkoff
Publication Date: May 29th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

I'm absolutely obsessed with the cover of this one and cannot wait to get my hands on it! I've probably said that too many times already but, it's the truth! When Patrick, our main character, receives a letter from his mother on his eighteenth birthday, he hits the road searching for her!

*Nocturnal Meetings of the Misplaced By R.J. Garcia
Publication Date: May 1st
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

Fifteen year old Tommy and his sister are sent to live with relatives they've never met, in the mysterious town of Summertime, Indiana. He soon makes friends with Finn, who invites him to late night meetings in the woods and introduces him to two girls with whom he forms a special connection with. The woods soon become the only place where they truly belong and where they begin to unravel clues to a cold case murder and kidnapping that puts their lives in danger. Even if they live to tell the tale, will anyone believe them?
*Listen to Your Heart By Kasie West
Publication Date: May 29th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

I feature Kasie West's novels in all of my posts and still haven't managed to read one, which I'm quite ashamed of. I should've signed up for a challenge or something because I desperately need to read at least one of her books before the year is over!

*The Game Can't Love You Back By Karole Cozzo
Publication Date: May 15th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

This is probably at the top of my Wishlist and I would give my arm up to have it in my hands, right at this moment! That's pretty ironic, I know but, I'm seriously desperate for it! I haven't read a book like this before, haven't come across a Contemporary that's even similar to this one and it really reminds me of She's the Man which is my favorite movie so, I really need it in my life! It's not a girl pretends to be guy thing to play in a team but, it has a very interesting premise that really intrigued me from the moment I read its synopsis!

*A Date With Darcy {Bookish Boyfriends #1} By Tiffany Schmidt
Publication Date: May 1st
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

A girl whose literal crushes manifest in real life? Yes please! And for the record, could that be me? Because I'd really appreciate it at this moment in my life. It sounds very original, fun and definitely more than relevant!

*Girl Made of Stars By Ashley Herring Blake
Publication Date: May 15th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

The cover of this one is so magical and the book itself sounds quite interesting so, make sure to check out its synopsis!

That was it for today's post bookworms! Make sure to come back in a couple of days for the second part and let me know which books you're most excited to get your hands on!

Until the next post,
