Stacking the Shelves AKA ''Someone Please Stop Me''

Hello guys and welcome to yet another Stacking the Shelves post, hosted by Tyngas' Reviews. Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course, ebooks!

Some of these are pre-orders, some of these are review books so, I thought I'd share them with you! Make sure to follow my Instagram and add me on Goodreads, if you want to keep up with my bookish updates and don't forget to enter March's Giveaway, the banner of which is at the top of the page! You stil have six days to enter, if you haven't done so already!

Also, let me know which books you've added to your shelves recently, if you've read any of these and whether you enjoyed them or not!
*The Way I Used to Be By Amber Smith
Publication Date: March 2016
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

I've been eyeing this one for quite some time and initially planned on getting The Last to Let Go, Amber Smith's newest novel but, went for this on instead! It deals with a very sensitive subject and I'm very interested in seeing the author's take on it!

*The Astonishing Colour of After By Emily X.R. Pan
Publication Date: March 2018
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Magical Realism

I actually pre-ordered this one months ago because it sounded so intriguing and I obviously could not resist! It's probably the only pre-order I got in at the day of its release, which is quite exciting and has never happened to me before! I went for the Paperback because I'm not a huge fan of Hardbacks and it's one of the most stunning works of art I've ever laid my eyes on1

*The Exact Opposite of Okay By Laura Steven
Publication Date: March 2018
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

Another book I couldn't wait to get my hands on and pre-ordered as soon as I was able to! It's actually mostly told in blog entries, which is very interesting and I haven't come across in a while!
*Frostblood {Frostblood Saga #1} By Elly Blake
Publication Date: January 2017
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

I've had my eye on this series for quite some time and finally decided to just go for it! I'm binge reading Fantasy like a madwoman at the moment so, I'm probably end up picking it up after I finish with my current read!

*The Fallen Kingdom {The Falconer #3} By Elizabeth May
Publication Day: June 2017th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

This one was to be expected since I read The Vanishing Throne in February and had to get my hands on this one! I'm in love with this series and it's definitely become one of my all time favorites so, I cannot help but feel both excited and extremely sad to be so close to the end of it!

*A Promise of Fire {Kingmaker Chronicles #1} By Amanda Bouchet
Publication Date: August 2016
Genres: Fantasy, Romance

I came across this one while I was browsing through the Book Depository and purchased it without second though because I was extremely intrigued! Call me impulsive but, I've already read it and cannot wait to pick up the sequel! It's an interesting combination of everything I love in Fantasy and my review will be up soon so, stay tuned!
*To Catch A Killer & To Right the Wrongs {Erin Blake Series} By Sheryl Scarborough
Publication Date: February 2017/February 2018
Genres: Young Adult, Mystery, Thriller

To Catch A Killer is actually one of my most anticipated reads so, when the chance to sign up for the sequel's blog tour came at, I had to sign up for it! I'm very into Mystery anything at the moment so, I'll probably post my review of the first book within the week so, stay tuned!

*Losing Adam By Adrienne Clarke
Publication Date: April 2018
Genres: Young Adult, Romance

At first, I thought that this one was an actual Snow Queen retelling but, it deals with mental illness and from what I can understand, the author drew in elements of the original fairy tale in order to emphasize it. I'm extremely curious, no doubt about that!

That was it for today's post you guys! Are you interested in any of these titles? Make sure to let me know which ones you've added to your shelves!

Until the next post,

  1. I added the Erin Blake series to my TBR list. But, I just might add most of these. Thanks for the links. I don't usually link mine up. I guess I should. Have a great week!

    1. Thank you! I get all of my books from the Book Depository because I can't find them here and they're quite affordable! Especially if you pre-order them! And they send coupon codes every once in a while, which definitely helps!
