Hello guys and welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday post, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish! I haven't done one of these in a while but, they'll probably never stop being my favorite posts! So, definitely going to try and upload one at least once every two weeks. Today, I'm here to share with you the
Make sure to let me know which books are at the top of your winter TBR lists and don't forget to leave links to your Top Ten Tuesday posts!

Also you can follow me on

*The Bear and the Nightingale {The Winternight Trilogy #1} By Katherine Arden
Publication Date: January 2017
Genres: Historical Fiction, Fantasy

I have no idea why this escaped my attention until now but, I really cannot wait to get my hands on it the next time I place a book order. Simple as that! I'm extremely intrigued, just by reading its title!

*The Vanishing Throne {The Falconer #2} By Elizabeth May
Publication Date: June 2016
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy, Steampunk

I read The Falconer a while back and fell in love with it! It's been sitting on my shelves for a while and I cannot wait to start reading it and hopefully, finish the trilogy.

*A Study in Scarlet Women {Lady Sherlock #1} By Sherry Thomas
Publication Date: October 2016
Genres: Historical Fiction, Mystery

If you've been with me for a while, you'll no that I'm obsessed with Sherlock Holmes. Everything that has to do with Sherlock Holmes. And I'm especially fond of re-tellings, like this one. Which features a female heroine, which makes me extremely overjoyed!

*Shadow Study {Study #4} By Maria V. Snyder
Publication Date: December 2014
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

My obsession with this series is obvious, it's one of my favorites after all and I cannot even remember how many times I re-read it. But, I've always held back from picking up the rest of the books that were released years after the trilogy ended because of reasons fellow bookworms will understand. Having a favorite trilogy and being satisfied with the ending it pretty rare in my experience so, the announcement of the books that would follow came out of nowhere. At first, I was overjoyed but then, I had this nagging feeling inside of me and the fear of being disappointed and falling from cloud nine wouldn't let me continue on with the series. That was quite a long explanation but, I think I'm ready for Shadow Study!
*The Kiss of Deception {The Remnant Chronicles #1} By Mary E. Pearson
Publication Date: July 2014
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

This one has been sitting on my shelves for a very long time and I still have not picked it up. It's definitely high up on the list of books I want to read as soon as I'm able to so, I'm probably taking it with me back home during the Christmas holidays with the hopes of finally reading it!

*Lion Heart {Scarlet #3} By A.C. Gaughen
Publication Date: May 2015
Genres: Young Adult, Re-telling, Historical Fiction

Robin Hood has been another favorite of mine since I was young and this is one of my favorite series that for some reason, I haven't finished yet. I really need to get back on track and finally read Lion Heart during the winter. I've put if off for long enough!

*Recreated {Reawakened #2} By Colleen Houck
Publication Date: August 2016
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

I read Reawakened a while back and was very surprised by how much I enjoyed it! I've had my eye on Recreated since then. Another series I really need to finish this winter!
*The Impossible Vastness of Us By Samantha Young
Publication Date: June 2017
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

I love Samantha Young and I'm very interested in her take on YA Contemporary. Most of her books that I've personally read are New Adult so, I'm more than excited for this one!

*Lost Boy: The True Story of Captain Hook By Christina Henry
Publication Date: July 2017
Genres: Fantasy, Horror, Re-telling

I've talked about Christina Henry before and how much I enjoyed Alice, which is a gripping and gory re-telling of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, unlike any other that's currently out there! So, naturally, I was ecstatic when I discovered this one! Doesn't it sound extremely intriguing? Really need to add it to my list of books I need to get next time I place an order at The Book Depository!

*Whichwood {Furthermore #2} By Tahereh Mafi
Publication Date: November 2017
Genres: Fantasy, Middle Grade

This one came out a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't have been happier! I love Tahereh Mafi's writing and since Furthermore itself was a huge success - which I truthfully wasn't expecting - I cannot wait to get my hands on this one and devour it!

That was it for today's post!

Have you read any of the books featured above? What did you think about them?

Before you go, make sure to let me know which books are at the top of your TBR lists!

  2. Whichwood is a book I hope to get to soon. I have had it since May, and I am the worst, because I let it slip though the cracks of my TBR. I loved Furthermore and am excited to be back in that world. Happy reading!
