Stacking the Shelves - The *It's Been A While* Edition

Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course, e-books.

Let me know in the comments if you've read any of these books and whether you enjoyed them or not.

What books did you add to your shelves this week?

*Places No One Knows By Brenna Yovanoff
Publication Date: May 2016
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

I was debating on whether to pick this one up, mainly because I've never seen or heard anything about it before.(Even though Brenna Yovanoff's other books are extremely popular.) The synopsis definitely won me over though and I can't wait to read it!

*The Golem and the Jinni By Helen Wecker

Publication Date: April 2013
Genres: Historical Fiction, Fantasy

I've actually had my eye on this book for the longest time! I finally decided to give in to the temptation and purchase it. I'v heard amazing things about it and I'm more than excited to read it so, I really hope it won't disappoint.

*A Beautiful Wedding By Jamie McGuire

Publication Date: December 2013
Genres: New Adult, Contemporary, Romance

Beautiful Disaster is actually the first NA book that I've ever read and it made me fall in love with the genre. I've been meaning to pick up the novella since ages ago and if I hadn't found it for a ridiculously low price at a second-hand bookstore, I probably would've never picked it up!

*Forever Too Far By Abbi Glines

Publication Date: June 2013
Genres: New Adult, Romance

I found this at the second-hand bookstore as well and just went for it. I seriously have no idea if I'm ever gonna get around to reading this series but, I'll try!

*Violet Grenade By Victoria Scott

Publication Date: May 16th, 2017
Genres: Young Adult, Paranormal, Fantasy

As soon as I read the synopsis for Violet Grenade, I was hooked! And imagine my excitement when I signed up for the blog tour and got my review copy for it!

*It Started With Goodbye By Christina June
Publication Date: May 9th, 2017
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

Another one I'm going to be participating in the blot tour for! And I couldn't have been happier. It sounds like a very moving story and I really cannot wait to start reading it!

Don't forget to leave your links below! Hope you all had a wonderful week!

  3. I've had my eye on the Golem and the Jinni since it came out and I'm super excited to read it! As for Violet Grenade, I'm very intrigued and hope for the best. I've read some of Victoria Scott's other books and truth be told, they weren't my favorite. Wishing you a wonderful week as well! Thanks for stopping by!
