Hello and welcome to The End of the Year Book Survey created by The Perpetual Page Turner.I decided to take part in the survey because it's so much fun and I really want to share my favorites of this year with you guys.2013 was an amazing year.I had so much fun blogging,discovering new things,meeting new people and of course,reading more books.I hope you all have an amazing new year,even though we still have a couple of days before 2014.

2.Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going to Love More But Didn't?

Biggest disappointment of the year...Of Poseidon By Anna Banks.Which many people loved but I thought I'd love it and obviously...I didn't.

3.Most Surprising (In a good way) Book of 2013?

Has to be Influential Magic By Deanna Chase.It was one of those books I didn't think I would like at all,mainly because I'm not a big fan of faeries,but I ended up loving it.

4.Book You Read in 2013 That You Recommended to People Most in 2013?
  
Don't even have to think about this one.The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden By Jessica Sorensen.I'm always talking to other people about this book.It's been a couple of months since I read it and I'm still recommending it to people and talking about it...

5.Best Series You Discovered in 2013?

The Warriors of Ankh Trilogy By Samantha Young.I read the whole series in less than a week which is a new record for me.It was so action packed I just got sucked in the world the author created and couldn't let go.And I actually cried when I finished the final book.

6.Favorite New Author You Discovered in 2013?

 Sarah J. Maas and Abbi Glines.

7.Best Book That Was Out of Your Comfort Zone or was a New Genre For You?

I'm gonna go with Warm Bodies By Isaac Marion.Mainly because I'm not a huge fan of zombies and it took me a while to finally decide whether I wanted to read the book or not.It was a pleasant surprise because I loved it!

8.Most Thrilling Unputdownable Book of 2013?

The Immortal Rules By Julie Kagawa as well as Fire Study By Maria V. Snyder.And let's not forget about Scarlet By A.C. Gaughen.

9.Book You Read in 2013 That You Are Most Likely To Re-Read Next Year?

Crash Into You By Katie McGarry because I just fell in love with it.And Beautiful Disaster By Jamie McGuire.

10.Favorite Cover of A Book You Read in 2013?


The Coldest Girl in Coldtown By Holly Black.I don't know why but I fell in love with the simplicity and beauty of this cover.

11.Most Memorable Character of 2013?

So hard...I'll have to go with Celaena and Chaol from Crown of Midnight because they're two of my favorite characters of all times.And they're the most memorable characters of 2013.

12.Most Beautifully Written Book of 2013?

Graffiti Moon By Cath Crowley.One of the most beautifully written books I have ever read!

13.Book That Had the Greatest Impact on You in 2013?

Let Me Go By L.L. Akers.I read this one for a blog tour and it was one of the most heartbreaking books I have ever read.It messed with my emotions so much that I actually cried because of the unfairness and the things the characters went through.

14.Book You Can't Believe You Waited Until 2013 to Read?

Dare You To By Katie McGarry.The first time I read Pushing the Limits was in 2012 so I had to wait six or seven months to get my hands on Dare You To.

15.Favorite Passage/Quote From A Book You Read in 2013?

16.Shortest and Longest Book You Read in 2013?

Shortest: Destroy Me By Tahereh Mafi which was a novella.I don't know if it counts but...it's still a book right? (103 pages)

Longest: City of Lost Souls By Cassandra Clare (535 pages)

17.Book That Had a Scene In It That Had You Reeling And Dying To Talk To Somebody About It?(a WTF moment,an epic revelation,a steamy kiss etc.)Be careful of spoilers!

Has to be Shadows By Paula Weston which I finished a couple of days ago and half the time I was like...OMG.And I can't just forget about Crown of Midnight because so many things happened...it was insane.So many twists and revelations.

18.Favorite Relationship From A Book You Read in 2013?

We have Avery and Cam from Wait For You By J.Lynn,Kaidan and Anna from Sweet Peril By Wendy Higgins and Ethan and Merit from Biting Cold.

19.Favorite Book You Read in 2013 From an Author You Read Previously?

The Immortal Rules By Julie Kagawa.I've read her Iron Fey Series and really enjoyed it so I had to pick up her new book.And of course...I loved it.

20.Best Book You Read in 2013 That You Read Based SOLELY On A Recommendation From Somebody Else.

Splintered By A.G. Howard.Yes...someone actually recommended it to me on Goodreads.And it really intrigued me so I decided to pick it up.

21.Genre You Read the Most From in 2013?

Contemporary YA/NA...If I'm not mistaken.

 22.Newest Fictional Crush From A Book You Read In 2013?

Rafa from Shadows and Josh from The Sea of Tranquility.

23.Best 2013 Debut You Read?

Easy...Throne of Glass By Sarah J. Maas.At first,I didn't believe that it was her first novel since it's one of the most beautifully written books I've ever read.

24.Most Vivid World/Imaginary In A Book You Read in 2013?

The world Christina Bauer created in Angelbound.It was so real and fascinating!

25.Book That Was the Most Fun To Read in 2013?

Has to be Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door By Stephanie Perkins.

26.Book That Made You Cry Or Nearly Cry in 2013?

When You're Ready By J.L. Berg.It made me cry and it was one of the most emotional and heartbreaking books I read this year.

27.Book You Read in 2013 That You Think Got Overlooked This Year or When It Came Out?

4.Series Ending You Are Most Anticipating in 2014?

Sweet Reckoning By Wendy Higgins which is the last book in the Sweet Trilogy.I can't wait to finally find out what is going to happen and how the series is going to end!

5.One Thing You Hope to Accomplish Or Do in Your Reading/Blogging In 2014?

I hope to finish some series,re-read some other and try to make this blog better.I want to do more when it comes to posting.I've been meaning to start posting discussions but I don't know if people will enjoy reading them so I keep putting it off.I hope I'll be able to make my blog better in 2014!

  1. I participated in the 4th Annual Book Book Survey this year. It was my first time participating in this survey and I enjoyed answering the questions a lot.

    But I've found discovering which books other book bloggers enjoyed reading this year fun too... So, have been adding other books to my reading wishlist!!
