Feature & Follow #5

Feature & Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The purpose is to meet new people and gain new followers. It's an amazing chance to connect with other bloggers and answer some really interesting questions.

Here's this week's question:

What do you do with your books after you're done reading them?

I wish I could say that I give them away or something but that would be a lie.And yes every single book I read goes back to my shelf where I can admire it and read it again if I want to.The problem is that I've already run out of shelves and I'll need to buy a new bookshelf but...it breaks my heart even thinking about giving any of my precious books away.Just...no.Because of the space problem,I started buying e-books.But I only buy the books I think I might not like,or books I'm not sure about. And if I love an e-book I read...I have the bad habit of buying a physical copy of that book.Which really screws up with the whole space problem but...I just can't resist.

What about you? What do you do once you're done reading a book?

  1. Hopping through. I do the same thing! If I love an e-book I'll buy a paper copy. Because paper is so much better.

  5. I keep my favorites and lend them out. My friends call my library Elizabeth's Lending Library.

The ones that aren't my favorite go to our library's book sale or for our book month swap at my book club.

  6. Hello! New follower. I look forward to your future posts! http://bookcovereviews.blogspot.com

eBooks: I archive. I only delete if they are free or if I really disliked them
Physical: Overflow on my bookshelf, which is unfortunately in my closet. I dream of the day when I can have my own library in my house. Until then, I save my books so that I can create said library ;-)

The great thing about eBooks is that no one can tell that I'm a book hoarder and judge me ;-)

On some occasions I will give books to the library or local schools.
