Most Anticipated Book Releases - April Edition {Part 3}

Hello guys and welcome to the last part of April's most exciting book releases! I'm so late and I want to apologize for losing track of my schedule these past couple of days! Everything has been extremely hectic and I haven't even managed to post my wrap up yet and announce the winner of March's Giveaway! It's coming sometime this week though so, stay tuned for it! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to host a Giveaway for April because I'm back home for a couple of weeks and haven't had the time to sit down and organize it so, make sure to come back at the end of this month for it!

Also, don't forget to let me know which book releases you're most excited for!
*Leah On the Offbeat {Creekwood #2} By Becky Albertalli
Publication Date: April 24th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

This is a companion to Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda which, I haven't read yet and I cannot wait to get my hands on! The majority of you guys have probably already watched the movie adaptation but, I haven't managed to quite yet! I'm so behind on things it's ridiculous!

*Love Songs & Other Lies By Jessica Pennington
Publication Date: April 24th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

This sounds like a very fun and easy read, featuring a battling band reality show and a summer romance, all about second chances! It's a book perfectly suited for a day at the beach and a warm weather!

*Picture Us in the Light By Kelly Loy Gilbert
Publication Date: April 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

I absolutely love the cover of this one and it sounds like a very interesting and fun Contemporary, full of important life choices the main character has to make in order to reach a state of true happiness. A coming of age story about a boy who has his future set but starts doubting everything when family secrets come to the surface and the past comes back to haunt him!

*Sam & Ilsa's Last Hurrah By David Levithan & Rachel Cohn
Publication Date: April 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

These two authors have co-written books before but, I haven't picked up any of them! I think one or two of them have been turned into movies as well but, I'm not completely sure about it! This sounds like another quick and fun Contemporary read, perfect for fans of light Romances and entertaining story lines!
*Infamous {Beautiful Idols #3} By Alyson Noel
Publication Date: April 3rd
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Mystery

You guys cannot imagine how many times I was close to starting this series! I read the Immortals by Alyson Noel eight years ago and fell in love with it even though it's filled with annoying tropes and same old cliches! It does hold a special place in my heart because it's the series that got me into reading but, I can say with certainty that I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if I'd read it now! Regardless, I've never had the chance to read any of the author's other novels and I cannot wait to give them a try!

*Starry Eyes By Jenn Bennett
Publication Date: April 3rd
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

I've heard so many amazing things about Alex, Approximately which I haven't managed to get my hands on yet - story of my life - and I'm also very interested in Jenn Bennett's newest novel! This looks like another fun and swoon worthy Contemporary, about a camping trip gone wrong and two sworn enemies coming closer in order to survive!

*As She Fades By Abbi Glines
Publication Date: April 3rd
Genres: New Adult, Contemporary, Romance

I absolutely love Abbi Glines and since she'd definitely one of my auto buy authors, I do plan on reading this one very soon! I haven't read New Adult in a while and getting back into it with one of my favorite authors is the best way to go!

*Relative Strangers By Paula Garner
Publication Date: April 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

I've already read and reviewed this one but, it's a story about a girl who discovers that she spent her first two years in a foster home because of her mother's drug relapse and decides to search for the family that raised her! You can easily find my review since it's pretty recent but, I'll talk more about it in my wrap up as well!
*Dead Girl Running {Cape Charade #1} By Christina Dodd
Publication Date: April 24th
Genres: Mystery, Romance

I've really been into Mysteries this past couple of months and cannot wait to get my hands on this one! This one sounds more of a ''romance overshadows mystery'' type of book but, it still sounds very intriguing! I do not mind it in the least because it sounds so good you guys! Go ahead and read the synopsis everyone! You won't be disappointed!

*Rewind {Rewind #1} By Carolyn O'Doherty
Publication Date: April 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Science Fiction

I've talked about not being a huge fan of time travel books in the past but, Rewind sounds like a very interesting read! I'll probably never end up reading it just because I'm genuinely not interested in books based off of rewinding time and traveling through it but, some of you might be intrigued by its synopsis and want to add it to your TBR lists!

*The Girl I Used to Be By Mary Torjussen
Publication Date: April 24th
Genres: Mystery, Thriller

You cannot imagine how excited I am for this one! It sounds so good you guys and I'm pretty sure it would be fantastic as a movie! It's all about a woman who goes out with a client and starts getting mementos of that night but, there's a twist. There's a photo of a hallway kiss, a video of her complaining about her husband and much worse that she does not remember!

*After Anna By Lisa Scottoline
Publication Date: April 10th
Genres: Mystery, Thriller

Another very exciting read that I would've paid to see a movie adaptation of! Maggie's seventeen year old daughter moves in with her and her husband Noah, turning things upside down with her return! Things take a turn for the worst when Anna is found dead and Noah is blamed for her murder! Now Maggie has to discover the truth and follow information that leads up to secrets darker than she expected!
*The Home for Unwanted Girls By Joanna Goodman
Publication Date: April 17th
Genres: Historical Fiction

Another one I'm extremely excited for, set during the 1950's! Elodie is raised in Quebec's poor orphanage system and sent to psychiatric hospital after being declared mentally ill. She withstands the abysmal treatment of the nuns and manages to earn her freedom at seventeen. She's then thrust into an unnerving and unfamiliar worlds she'd never been a part of before! Maggie can't forget the daughter she was forced to abandon and after being reconnected with the poor French boy who stole her heart when she was just a teenager, she's more determined than ever to find her daughter and reclaim the truth that was denied from them both!

*Love and Other Words By Christina Lauren
Publication Date: 10th
Genres: Contemporary, Romance

I've never read a book by these two authors before but, have seen them around now and then! This is told in alternating timelines between the two main characters' teenage and adults years, which sounds very intriguing and different from any Contemporary I've read recently!

*Neverland By Margot McGovern
Publication Date: April 1st
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

I've always loved Peter Pan so, I was pretty stoked when I discovered this one! This version of Neverland is one that none of us has come across and I'm in love with it already! It's sounds so authentic and the idea behind it is genius!

*Before I Let You Go By Kelly Rimmer
Publication Date: April 3rd
Genres: Fiction, Contemporary

Lexie hasn't heard her sister's voice in years and when she does, she's sure nothing good will come of it! Annie is in premature labor and if she goes to the hospital, social services will take the baby because of her drug abuse and history of theft. Both candid and compassionate, this novel explores a hotly divisive topic and asks how far the ties of family love can be stretched before they finally break! This one is definitely at the top of my wishlist and I cannot wait to get my hands on it!

That was it for today's post you guys! I hope you found this enjoyable and added the novels that you might be interested in, on your TBR lists! I seriously cannot wait for these new releases and hope that you're as excited as I am!

Until the next post,
