Most Anticipated Book Releases - April Edition! {Part 2}

Hello fellow bookworms and welcome to the second part of April's most exciting new releases! I do these every months so, don't forget to stay tuned for more and check out
I've talked about how overwhelmed I get about all of these wonderful books coming up and how impossible it is to actually keep up but, we can definitely try! Make sure to let me know if you plan on picking up any of these and which new titles you're most anticipating the release of! There's going to be a third part because there are just too many, by the way!
*Ash Princess {Ash Princess Trilogy #1} By Laura Sebastian
Publication Date: April 24th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

This is probably at the very top of my Wishlist, mainly because it sounds amazing! And it's Fantasy! Theo's mother was murdered when she was just six years old and now, ten years later, she has to endure the abuse of the new King, until it's time for her to set her plans of revenge in motion! It does have some dear old tropes thrown in which might bother some people but, I'm all up for it!

*Ace of Shades {The Shadow Game #1} By Amanda Foody
Publication Date: April 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

The City of Sin, a place no proper lady would willingly visit but, when Enne's mother goes missing, she leaves everything behind in order to follow her trail. Her only lead is the elusive Levi, who isn't the gentleman she expected. On the contrary, he's a street lord and a con man, who'll do anything to get his hands on the compensation Enne promises him, if he helps her find out more clues about her mother's disappearance! Another title that's at the very top of my Wishlist, sounds extremely fascinating and I can't wait to get my hands on!

*Beyond A Darkened Shore By Jessica Leake
Publication Date: April 10th

I think I've features this one before but, then it was kind of pushed back so, here it is again! Ciara, Princess of Mide has the unearthly ability to control her enemies' minds and actions, keeping her people safe from the constant battling of the Kingdoms. When a crow leads her to Leif, a young Northman leader who shares her prophetic abilities, they'll combine their abilities to save the world they love from the evil that's threatening to take over!

*Sky in the Deep By Adrienne Young
Publication Date: April 24th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

Another one I'm actually dying to get my hands on! It's already become very popular in the book community and I keep seeing it on Instagram so, I really can't wait to read it! It sounds like something I'd definitely enjoy and it is a stand alone, which is extremely rare when it comes to Fantasy novels! Make sure to read its synopsis because it's so intriguing I can't even think straight!
*Inferno {Talon #5} By Julie Kagawa
Publication Date: April 24th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

This is the epic conclusion to Julie Kagawa's dragon series, the first book of which has been sitting on my TBR shelves since it came out! I really enjoy her writing so, I cannot wait to finally get started on the series! Shape shifting dragons sound quite intriguing, don't you think?

*The Fates Divide {Carve the Mark #2} By Veronica Roth
Publication Date: April 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

I'm pretty sure the majority of you are aware of the controversy surround the first book in the series but, nevertheless, its sequel is coming out very soon and I'm so ready to pick up the series and see what the fuss is all about, which is something I rarely do! I initially planned on picking up Carve the Mark as soon as it came out but, I have to admit that all those negative opinions affected me and made me stay away from it. The premise sounds very interesting though and Divergent is still one of my favorites, even if Allegiant broke my heart into a million pieces that I'll never be able to glue back together.

*Defy the Worlds {Constellation #2} By Claudia Gray
Publication Date: April 3rd
Genres: Young Adult, Science Fiction

Travelling through the stars, fugitives and a race against time to save the worlds? Yes please! I haven't read the first book in the series but, I'm definitely interested in it! Not too happy with the cover change though, even if I don't actually own any of the books!

*Dread Nation {Dread Nation #1} By Justina Ireland
Publication Date: April 3rd
Genres: Young Adult, Historical Fiction, Fantasy

This book sounds extremely interesting, diverse and unlike anything I've read before! It also has to do with zombies, which you can never go wrong with! Highly recommend reading the synopsis of this one for yourselves because I seriously cannot even try to explain  what it is about!
*A Glimmer of Hope {The Avalon Chronicles #1} By Steve McHugh
Publication Date: April 1st
Genres: Urban Fantasy

Layla has always wanted a normal life and leaving her father's legacy behind is the first step to fully achieving it. When she accidentally activates an ancient scroll though, she is bestowed with extraordinary powers that will introduce her to a world full of mythical creatures, danger and a group of fanatics who will stop at nothing to use her for their cause.

*Traitor Born {Secondborn #2} By Amy A. Bartol
Publication Date: April 17th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

I discovered this one while scrolling through Goodreads, one of my favorite pastimes!  I'm actually quite fascinated by the premise and adding it to the huge list of series that I need to start reading sometime!

*The Diminished By Kaitlyn Sage Patterson
Publication Date: April 10th
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

This one's about an empire where the majority of children are born in pairs. The rare few who aren't AKA singleborns, are given the right to rule by the gods and goddesses. Then, there are those who are born without their other half and rarely survive the pain of facing the world without them. Those who do survive though, are considered diminished and are doomed to succumb to the violent grief that follows and eventually destroys those who are born without their twin. Double yes please! I need this in my life right now!

*How to Be Safe By Tom McAllister

Genres: Fiction, Mystery

A high school teacher is suspended for an outburst and suddenly sees herself named as a suspect for the shooting that took place at the school she taught at. Even though she's exonerated and the police have the teenager responsible for the shooting, her life is scrutinized and judged, as her quiet town descends into a media frenzy that completely shatters her peace.
*Trespassing By Brandi Reeds
Publication Date: April 1st
Genres: Fiction, Mystery, Thriller

A psychological suspense novel, where a young mother follows a dangerous path to find her missing husband. Her daughter has a new imaginary friend who seems much more devilish than playful and her husband fails to return home from a business trip. She's also certain that someone wants her and her daughter dead, which leads her to a place where the truth can be uncovered, if she really wants it to.

*The Elizas  By Sara Shepard
Publication Date: April 17th
Genres: Fiction, Mystery, Thriller

I haven't read a Sara Shepard novel before but, this one does sound quite intriguing! A debut novelist is found at the bottom of a hotel pool, making her family believe that it's just another failed suicide attempt. But Eliza is sure that someone pushed her and she's determined to find out why. The deeper she goes into her investigation though, the more her life resembles the novel she's ready to publish, until the line between fiction and reality starts to blur.

*Unbury Carol By Josh Malerman
Publication Date: April 10th
Genres: Fiction, Horror

Carol Evers is a woman with a dark secret. She has died many times . . . but her many deaths are not final: They are comas, a waking slumber indistinguishable from death, each lasting days. Only two people know of her condition. One of them is her husband, who only married her for her fortune and plans on proclaiming her death in order to seize it, as soon as she lapses into another coma. The other person who is aware of what's happening is her lost love, an infamous outlaw who'll do anything to save her before she's buried alive.
