Stacking the Shelves - ''After Christmas Madness'' Edition

Hi guys and welcome to another Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews! Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books books you buy in physical store or online, books your borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course, eBooks!

Since I did go a bit overboard, I'm not going to overwhelm you guys and post a couple of books every week, until there's no more. Well, there's always going to be more but, I thought I'd split the ones I got recently because they're just too many to feature in this post! Also, I thought I'd start an official Bookstagram account since I feel like the blog is running extremely smoothly and I write down everything that needs to be posted in order to actually remember posting it so, make sure to go ahead and
Hope it all goes well!

Without further ado, these are - some of - the books I added to my shelves recently!

*Our Chemical Hearts By Krystal Sutherland
Publication Date: October 2016
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

I've had my eye on this one for months and I'm actually currently reading it so, I'll let you guys know how it goes in a couple of days. It's entirely told from a boy's perspective, which is extremely unusual and I think I've never actually encountered in YA Contemporaries. At least not the ones that are told from multiple characters perspectives. If you guys know of any Contemporaries that are told from the male characters POV, please let me know!

*What Light By Jay Asher
Publication Date: October 2016
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

This was definitely an impulsive purchase. I've been debating on whether I actually want to read this or not but, the bookstore kind of made the decision for me. I saw it and I bought it. Simple as that! I want to read it soon since it's relatively small and I'm extremely curious to see if I'll end up enjoying it or not.

*If There's No Tomorrow By Jennifer L. Armentrout
Publication Date: September 2017
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

I'm so excited for this one! I love Jennifer L. Armentrout and I've read many of her books so, I obviously had to go ahead and get my hands on her newest release as well! Cannot wait to read it!
*Frenchman's Creek By Daphne Du Maurier
Publication Date: 1941
Genres: Historical Fiction, Classic

I was debating on whether to pick this one up or just go for My Cousin Rachel. The Book Depository made the choice for me since they had this in their bargain shop - still do, if I'm not mistaken in case you're interested - so, I have My Cousin Rachel on my basket, ready to be checked out the next time I order from them!

*The Letter For the King By Tonke Dragt
Publication Date: 1962
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

I've read this one many times over the years but never owned an edition because I used to always borrow it from the library but, I found it over at Awesome Books for a discounted price and just went for it! And I just discovered that this is actually a trilogy. I cannot wait to get my hands on the sequel!

*A Curious Beginning {Veronica Speedwell #1} By Deanna Raybourn
Publication Date: September 2015
Genres: Historical Fiction, Mystery

I've had my eyes on this one for a while and since I'm really into Historical Fiction lately, the Mystery part will just add more to the experience! It's definitely one of my most anticipated reads and I cannot wait to read it!
*Cat Among the Pigeons, The Secret of Chimneys and A Murder Is Announced By Agatha Christie

You'll probably see a lot of Agatha Christie from now on because I have a slight obsession and all of them I actually thrifted from various second hand bookstores! They're all over the place and I love visiting them at least once a week and discovering all sorts of books! Mainly Agatha Christie, obviously! And Sherlock Holmes! Let's not forget about dear old Sherlock!
*Portia {Angelbound Offspring #2} By Christina Bauer
Publication Date: September 2016
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy, Paranormal

This is the spin-off to the Angelbound series, which I only read the first book of when it came out and never managed to continue, unfortunately. I immensely enjoyed it an I'd really like to actually pick up the rest of the books in the series so that I can finish it!

*Wolves and Roses {Fairy Tales of the Magicorum #1} By Christina Bauer
Publication Date: October 2017
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy, Paranormal

This is one of my most anticipated reads and I helped promote the official tour for it so, Monster House was kind enough to send me a copy and include Portia in the package! Cannot wait to read it!

That was it for today's post guys! Make sure to let me know which books you added to your shelves this week and whether you've read any of the ones featured on today's Stacking the Shelves!

Until the next post,
