Top Ten Gorgeous Covers I'm In Love With {Top Ten Tuesday}

Hello and welcome to a post I haven't done in a while! Top Ten Tuesday is a wonderful and very fun meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish! You can visit their page to learn more about it and of course, join in! Also, make sure to check out all the exciting posts you will undoubtedly find there!

Today's topic has to do with covers! They're definitely my weakness when it comes to purchasing books and yes, I have a lot of cover buys on my shelves. Guilty! So, I decided to share with you the Top Ten
They're obviously so much more than ten but, they'll definitely be featured in future posts! Or have already been featured somewhere, sometime in the history of this blog!

Make sure to comment below telling me if you've actually read any of these books and whether you enjoyed them or not! Also, are you as obsessed with their cover art as I am? What are some of your favorite covers?

*Lady Midnight {The Dark Artifices #1} By Cassandra Clare
Publication Date: March 2016
Genres: Fantasy, Paranormal

This cover is probably one of the most beautiful pieces of art ever! The stillness it projects also gives off this sort of empowerment. It reminds me of the calm before the storm and of course, I'm up for it! I haven't read this one yet which, I'm admittedly very ashamed of because I love the world of the Shadowhunters and the opportunity to live in it again through this books is truly amazing! Really need to read it soon!

*Ignite Me {Shatter Me #3} By Tahereh Mafi
Publication Date: February 2014
Genres: Young Adult, Dystopia

All of the books in this trilogy are equally gorgeous but I love this one just a little bit more than the rest. I think it's the flowers around the eye that make the difference. And that yellow/orange definitely helps! Probably one of the only cover changes I'm more than thankful for! Also, the writing itself is even more beautiful and magical than the covers so, that equals perfection for me! And, have you guys heard the news? There's gonna be THREE MORE BOOKS IN THE SERIES! *Que in the happiest, craziest and most enthusiastic dance ever!*

*These Broken Stars {Starbound #1} By Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner
Publication Date: December 2013
Genres: Young Adult, Science Fiction

This is probably one of the few books I've had my eye on for years but never picked up. The cover is obviously beautiful and has a very magical vibe to it that I can never get enough of! I saw it at a bookstore recently so, I might go for it very very soon!

*The First Time She Drowned By Kerry Kletter
Publication Date: March 2016
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary

This one has been on my mind since I stumbled upon it on Goodreads. Because where else would I sit for hours on end and find more books in a day than I could actually read in a year? The cover is very mysterious and I feel like it definitely makes you want to read it!
*The Sea of Tranquility By Katja Millay
Publication Date: November 2012
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

If you've followed this blog for a while, you'll know that this is one of my all time favorite contemporaries! The cover itself is also gorgeous and I can never get enough of it or stop staring at it! Definitely recommend it if you've yet to pick it up!

*Everything, Everything By Nicola Yoon
Publication Date: September 2015
Genres: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

This cover reminds me of spring and since it's on my Spring TBR, I really need to pick it up sooner rather than later! And from what I can tell, the cover itself is very representative of the story so, I really can't wait for it!

*The Girl At Midnight By Melissa Grey
Publication Date: April 2015
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

I don't think I've talked about this book enough! It was definitely a very surprising read for me since I didn't expect to like it as much as I did! Also, the cover is absolutely gorgeous! I'm a sucker for the colors combined in it and...that feather?! Yes please!
*A Court of Thorns and Roses By Sara J. Maas
Publication Date: May 2015
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance

What can I say about this one? That red background with the white lettering and the thorns in between is literally everything! And that black dress with the tattoo peeking from the bottom of the cover is simply perfect!

*The Sin Eater's Daughter By Melinda Salisbury
Publication Date: February 2015
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

This cover took my breath away as soon as I laid my eyes on it! Isn't it wonderful? It's been on my shelf for a while so, I really cannot wait to read it! The synopsis sounds very intriguing and I'll probably end up picking it up soon!

*A Madness So Discreet By Mindy McGinnis
Publication Date: October 2015
Genres: Young Adult, Mystery, Historical

This cover screams insanity to me! And I absolutely love it! I don't know what it is about it that fascinates me so much but, I'd definitely print this out and cover my walls with it. Just to be clear, I'm not crazy or anything...At least, I don't think I am!

  1. The only book I've read on this list is ACOTAR, which I was not the most fond of...
I've started ACOMAF in light of the recent hype-fest for ACOWAR. We shall see if it lives up to the hype.
I LOVE THE SHATTER ME COVERS. Even though I haven't read them either *hides behind tower of light sabers* The new ones are so much better than the old ones with the girls in giant dresses on them.

    1. I actually prefer the Throne of Glass series and I'll probably have to re-read ACOTAR again if I ever want to continue wit the series. I cannot remember anything! You should definitely read the Shatter Me trilogy! I immensely enjoyed it and I was so glad when they announced the release of three more books because the ending didn't give me the closure I needed to feel complete! And their covers are just gorgeous!
