Monthly Wrap - Up - February 2017

Hello and welcome to this month's wrap-up! In this post, you can find out what books I managed to read this month and whether I liked them or not and which books I reviewed during February, plus the ones I intend on reviewing soon. I also included the blog's most popular posts, as well as a list of goals I decided to create, concerning the blog, that I want to achieve throughout the next couple of weeks!

Hope you find this post helpful since everything will be displayed in one place and you can just click on the posts that interest you.

*Alex: Perfect Opposite By Zoya Tessi*
Rating: 3/5
Would I recommend it?
It was entertaining but not as enjoyable as I would have liked. I can't vouch for whether you'll like it more than I did but, if you're a huge fan of NA like me, you might want to give it a go!

*Until Trevor By Aurora Rose Reynolds
Rating: 2.5/5
Would I recommend it?
I was not in the mood for this book and usually, when I'm not in the mood for a book I end up disliking it Does anyone else have that problem or am I the weird one? If you're in the mood for it, you should definitely pick it up because Aurora Rose Reynolds does not disappoint when it comes to NA. Otherwise, wait until you're up for it!

*Under Locke By Mariana Zapata
Rating: 3/5
Would I recommend it?
Yes, even though I found some parts to be really slow, hence the three star rating. I enjoyed the unconventional relationships between the characters and found the story very deep and at the same time, entertaining. I just think that it was longer than it should have been and it lacked in some parts.

*Making Bad Choices By Rita Stradling
Rating: 4.5/5
Would I recommend it?
Definitely! I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this book. It dealt with a topic I have never personally encountered in a book before, so that made the experience of reading it even better. It was unique, beautifully written and hard to put down!

Rating: 5/5
Would I recommend?
ABSOLUTELY! These are some of my favorite NA reads! It's actually my first time reading His Unlikely Lover but, The Unwanted Wife and A Husband's Regret are re-reads. These books managed to wake up so many emotions in me at the same time and break my heart, only to put it back together over and over again. They have their flaws but, I love them nonetheless!

*A Thousand Pieces of You By Claudia Gray
Rating: 3/5
Would I recommend?
Honestly, I'm going to say yes, even though I felt like the majority of the book was very slow for my taste, I think it's worth starting the series and deciding whether to continue with it or not! I think this is a very unique story worth sharing and I'm definitely going to continue with the rest of the books!

*Stealing Parker By Miranda Kenneally
Rating: 3/5
Would I recommend?
I would definitely recommend Miranda Kenneally's books in general, especially if you're in the mood for a quick and fun read! This was not my favorite out of the ones that I've read but it doesn't really affect my overall opinion.

*Alex: Perfect Opposite By Zoya Tessi

*The Air He Breathes By Brittainy C. Cherry

*Moonlight On Nightingale Way By Samantha Young

*Uprooted By Naomi Novik

*Stealing Parker By Miranda Kenneally

*All the Truth that's In Me By Julie Berry

{Top Ten Tuesday}

*Post more reviews

*Develop a rating system

*Post tags at least once per two weeks so you guys can get to know me better. I really want to share more things on this blog than just reviews and events. I want to give you a chance to get to know me. After my one year hiatus from blogging, I realized how much I actually missed it and I intend to stay. I love putting posts together and sharing my thoughts on Book Lady's Reviews. I want to talk about the things that interest me, things that upset me, movies, series and everything that has to do with me as a person and not just a random reader.

*Discussion posts on things that I want to share with you so we can talk about them

*Visit other blogs and check out what fellow bloggers are up to. I always comment back and try to visit as many blogs as I can, a process I thoroughly enjoy. So, why don't you leave the link to your blog or any social media profile in the comments and make a new friend?

That was it for this month! If you have any questions or are interested in reviews for any of the books I haven't reviewed yet, comment down below and I'll make sure to write and post a review as soon as possible! Unfortunately, I can't write reviews for every single book I read so, a little help on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

I didn't include a schedule for the upcoming reviews because I realized that, it would ruin the fun. You'll just have to wait and see!

Lastly, if you have any tags in mind, with which I can get to introduce myself properly after so many years, feel free to leave their links below and I'll make sure to check them out! And, if you have any topics you'd like me to discuss on future posts, please let me know!

  1. Looks like you've had a good reading month. It sucks that you didn't like Until Trevor, I haven't heard of it before, but man is that dude hot. I'll definitely be checking out Making Bad Choices. I've heard a lot of reviewers say the same thing about A Thousand Pieces of You, I personally don't like slow stories so I probably wont be reading this one, I guess maybe continue the series if there's nothing better to read?
Thanks for visiting my blog before.
Wishing you a happy March :)

    1. You should definitely check out Making Bad Choices. It was a very pleasant surprise and I'll have a review of it up soon! There are so many books I want to read but, I'm very curious as to what happens after A Thousand Pieces of You. I'll probably end up reading the rest of the books and hopefully, they'll be better! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Hope you have a wonderful March! :D

  2. Looks like you've read quite a few decent books in the past month. I have to say I've not read a lot of them but I have had Stealing Parker on my Kindle for a while so I should probably get around to reading it. I'm never blown away by her books but I do always enjoy them.

And that is a whole lot of blogging goals, I wish you the best of luck. I do love a good tag to get to know bloggers, they are always fun and there are interesting answers to be had. I always want to visit more blogs but it's finding the time to actually find new blogs that I struggle with. I try to stick with just commenting more often (I'm not always the best).

I hope you have a good March and meet your goals!

    1. Miranda Keneally's books are definitely on the fun side! They're very easy reads and I love reading them when I'm in the mood for something quick! I definitely love discovering new blogs but it does take effort. Definitely worth it though! And it really helps when people leave their blog names and links so, I try to do the same! I hope I'll be able to complete at least some of the goals :D Especially the tags and discussions part. Wishing you a wonderful March!!!
