Top Ten Tuesday #31 - Top Ten Books of 2013

Hello and welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.I know that it's Thursday but I was able to post in Tuesday and yesterday I fell asleep and forgot to post so I thought I'd just post it now.I thought about not posting it all but I really want to talk about my Top Ten of 2013 so here we go!!The books are in no particular order and of course it was difficult for me to choose only ten books...and it would be even more difficult to put them in order so...

*Crown of Midnight By Sarah J. Maas
I think this one is obvious because I loved Crown of Midnight.Best sequel I read this year.I have to admit that it was just a bit better than Throne of Glass since this was more action packed, unpredictable and heart breaking.

*Angelbound By Christina Bauer
I'm a sucker for action and kick ass heroines and this book had both.It was also funny and I fell in love with the plot and the characters from the moment I started reading it.It was so unique and original.I haven't read anything like it before and I highly recommend it.

*Crash Into You By Katie McGarry
Another obvious choice...I fell in love with Isaiah and Rachel's story from the beginning.Truth be told,I didn't expect to love Isaiah's story so much but it happened and I have to admit that this one is my favorite so far!

*The Darkest Minds By Alexandra Bracken
I might not have been satisfied with the ending but this was definitely one of the best books I read in 2013.I just regret that I haven't picked up the sequel yet.

Of course they couldn't not be in this list so I choose to add them both together since I loved them so so much.I had to add them both because I couldn't choose which I believe is understandable!

 *Beautiful Disaster By Jamie MvGuire
This is one of the most fascinating books I've read this year.So frustrating but sweet, funny but sad.It was just phenomenal. One of my best read of 2013 and the first NA book I ever picked up if I remember correctly.Travis and Abby's story was so unique and fantastic. They were just...perfect together.

No need to explain this one...

*Wait For You By J.Lynn
Another NA book that blew my mind and I fell in love with.A touching, beautiful, heartbreaking, wonderful and romantic story that had me jumping up and down.A story you have to read.

*Splintered By A. G. Howard
This retelling of Alice in Wonderland was perfect! From the moment I started reading,I was sucked into this twisted and beautiful world of Alice.I was seriously impressed and I can't wait to pick up the sequel.Probably one of the best retellings I have ever read. And of course it's one of my Top Ten Books of 2013.

*Scarlet By A.C. Gaughen
I've always been obsessed with Robin Hood so when I found out about this book,I was so excited. And I of course fell in love with it.It was so well written and the characters and plot development was perfect.I loved it and can't wait to finally read Lady Thief!

These were my Top Ten Books of 2013!What are the best books you read in 2013?Comment and leave your links below so I can check out your lists.

  2. The only ones of these I've read are Anna & Lola. Of course, liked everyone else I loved them, and can't wait for Isla to finally be out.

Out of the others, I actually have a copy of Splintered to read soon, and I'm just hoping with all the great things I've heard about it, I haven't overhyped it.
