Stacking the Shelves ''It's X-mas Time'' Edition

Hello guys and welcome to another Stacking the Shelves post, hosted by Tynga's Reviews! I haven't share the new additions to my shelves since the summer, so it's time for me to show you what I've purchased recently. Almost everything, apart from four titles, I bought from Awesome Books, secondhand. Not sponsored, but they have a vast selection of more titles than you can count, for more than half the price they retail for.

Make sure to let me know which books you've added to your shelves this past month in the comment section of this post!
*Love You, Love You Not By Jo Watson
Publication Date: May 2019
Genres: Contemporary, Romance

I'm a sucker for rom-coms and naturally, I went on a research spree for the ones on my list that were available on Awesome Books! Can't wait to dive into it!

*Fix Her Up By Tessa Bailey
Publication Date: June 2019
Genres: Contemporary, Romance

I feature this one in a previous most anticipated book releases post and I finally got my hands on it after a year and a half! I've already read it and will be writing a review soon, but for the time being, I'd like to say that it was definitely worth the wait!

*99 Percent Mine By Sally Thorne
Publication Date: January 2019
Genres: Contemporary, Romance

I absolutely loved The Hating Game, so I obviously had to pick up Sally Thorne's newest, relatively, novel! Hopefully, it won't disappoint me
*Who's That Girl        *Don't You Forget About Me    &      *It's Not Me It's You
Author: Mhairi McFarlane
Genres: Contemporary, Romance

As you can clearly see, I went on a bit of a McFarlane spree, if you will. All of these have been on my wish list for quite some time now and I found them on Awesome Books for really cheap, so I bought them all without having any prior knowledge of the author's writing. Makes sense? Definitely!
*How to Argue With A Racist By Adam Rutherford
Publication Date: February 2020
Genres: Non-fiction, Sociology

This is quite se-explanatory and will prove to be quite useful for future reference while arguing with small-minded people about things that should've been established already, don't you think?

*On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous By Ocean Vuong
Publication Date: June 2019
Genres: Fiction

This has been one of my most anticipated reads for a while, even though I already own a copy of it! I got it for review through Edelweiss+ and started reading it, but stopped due to the massive reading slump I sunk into last year. The writing was phenomenal and I cannot wait to actually finish it this time around!

*White Fragility By Robin DiAngelo
Publication Date: June 2016
Genres: Non-fiction

Another book on race I'm immensely interested in reading and will be doing so sooner rather than later! It's quite short, in terms of length, so I'll probably pick it up after I finish the books I'm currently reading!
*The Mother Tongue By Bill Bryson
Publication Date: September 1991
Genres: Non-fiction, History

This was one of those impulse buys that I just discovered while browsing through books... Surprise, surprise! Also, English Language *almost* graduate here, definitely interested in it!

*Shadow of the Fox By Julie Kagawa
Publication Date: October 2018
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series is an all time favorite, mainly because it introduced me to this intriguing world of Young Adult Fantasy and I've been a part of it ever since. Her newest series sounds extremely unique and has been on my most anticipated reads list for quite some time, so I finally went ahead and purchased it!

*Her Royal Spyness By Rhys Bowen
Publication Date: July 2007
Genres: Historical Fiction, Mystery

The Molly Murphy series by Rhys Bowen is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, so I had to dive in deep and pick up her other series as well! Definitely looks like something I'll definitely enjoy, hope I won't be disappointed!

Hope you guys enjoyed going through this post and the books I've recently added to my shelves! Make sure to leave your Stacking the Shelves link!

Until the next post,
